Sub-12 reviews applications on a rolling basis. There's no fixed deadline or batch. We read every application and typically respond within two weeks.
You don't need a published game to apply. A working prototype with a few real players is enough. If you already have a live experience and need funding to reach a wider audience, including players under 16, tell us about that in the application.
About applying
Submit your application online when you're ready. There's no benefit to waiting for a deadline, since we review on a rolling basis.
If your application is promising, we'll set up a short call to talk through the game, your numbers, and what funding would unlock. We usually let you know our decision within a few days of that call.
We fund studios as soon as we decide. We don't wait for a batch or a cycle to start.
What we're looking for
Early signs that players stick around. Even a small, active audience tells us more than a polished trailer. Beyond that, we're looking for a developer or small team that's going to keep shipping, with or without us.
Every game we fund goes through a security review before any money moves. We check for hidden admin access, unauthorized scripts, and anything else that could put revenue or players at risk.
Confidentiality
Everything you share with us is confidential. We don't use, share, or copy anyone's game concept without their permission. You'll confirm this with us directly on the application.
